1. Lead a Team of State-level Agronomists in Planning state level crop based
programs.
2. Prepare state level mapping of crops and undertake planning of
Agronomical Campaigns.

3. Preparation of Agronomic guidelines / Package of practices in local /
regional languages for major crops grown in his region.
4. Calculation of Water requirements for various crops grown in a particular
area. This will include fruit crops / vegetable crops / field crops and
medicinal crops etc. Preparation of Irrigation scheduling and share these
details with the Designer team as and when required.
5. Preparation of fertigation program and provide general recommendations
on use of fertilizer to customer.
6. In addition to irrigation and fertigation scheduling, he should be able to
provide general guidance on Agronomic aspects to drip irrigation
beneficiaries. This includes land preparation, cultivation practices and Soil
/ Water suitability for a particular crop.
7. Preparation of Power Point Presentations in local / regional languages for
major crops grown in his region.
8. To conduct farmer meetings with the aim to educate farmers / potential
customers and dealer staff on agronomical aspects of drip irrigation.
9. Act as a resource during farmer tours / field days to visit drip installation
plots and lead the campaign.
10. To participate in agricultural exhibitions / seminars held by Sugar
factories, universities etc. to showcase agronomic strength of
organization.
11. To act as a resource in “Agronomic Training” to Sales Staff and
channel partners in his area of operation on regular basis.
12. To create and document success stories for selected plots in his area
of operation. To further ensure proper circulation of these success stories
and its appropriate multiplication.
13. Need based participation during meetings before / during and after
sales particularly in institutional sales / large size projects.
14. Understand and Implement Manna Software at ground level.
